The FlexiSpot DTC standing desk product matrix

The US direct-to-consumer store—flexispot.com—covers more than a simple good/better/best ladder. Its catalog combines an entry-price range, a core E7 performance family, desks for specific workspace needs, and the furniture-led Fusion collection.

The matrix below maps 19 desk listings across those roles. It counts the named products and bundles shown, including Cubix Storage, rather than treating every entry as a unique frame platform. Standalone desktops and accessories are excluded. The four price groups are our editorial interpretation of the catalog.

How to read the matrix: Red outlines identify the four E7 models featured below. Click a card to reach its model or segment discussion. On a phone, swipe horizontally to read the diagram at full size.

Price basis: All 19 displayed prices were matched to the fully loaded US category page on October 5, 2026. “Frame only” identifies the E5, E7, E7 Pro, E7 Plus and E7 Plus Max configurations checked individually. “Configuration unconfirmed” means a category-page price whose desktop and package inclusions have not been individually verified. It is not a confirmed complete-desk price. The bands show catalog positioning, not the cost of identical complete desks. Prices are in USD before applicable tax. ¹ E5 uses the E5-V3 specification; see the version note below.

How the lineup is structured

01 · Entry & budget

Accessible entry points: E2, E5 and Desk with Drawers

This group gives the DTC store a lower entry price. E2 anchors the budget offer; E5 provides a dual-motor step up; Desk with Drawers puts storage and a two-tier shelf into the opening price band. These are different purchase propositions, so compare what is included before treating them as direct substitutes.

02 · Core & everyday use

E7 performance, with options for space and convenience

E2L · Comhar · Cubix Storage · E7 · E7 Mini · E7 Pro

E7 and E7 Pro form the central performance comparison in this guide. E7 Mini addresses compact rooms; E2L offers a lower-priced corner format; Comhar combines a drawer with USB-A/C charging; Cubix packages a desk with a side cabinet. Their similar listing prices conceal different priorities: frame performance, room fit or integrated convenience.

03 · Performance & specialty

An upgrade in structure—or a different kind of workstation

E7 Plus · E7L · E7 Pro Line · Q8 · E7 Plus Max · E7H

E7 Plus and E7 Plus Max extend the four-leg offer. E7L adds a triple-motor corner layout, E7 Pro Line emphasizes an integrated cable tray, Q8 combines a drawer and wireless charging, and E7H serves a two-person workspace. This band branches by use case: Q8 and E7H are not simply successive upgrades to the E7 Pro.

04 · Fusion design collection

A furniture-led branch of the DTC catalog

Fusion Retro · Fusion Stria · Fusion Retro L · Fusion Nordic

Fusion places more emphasis on furniture design, storage and workspace integration. Retro advertises two hidden drawers; Stria emphasizes materials, craftsmanship and hidden storage; Retro L combines a corner layout with built-in power; Nordic advertises modular drawer storage and power access. Its higher prices should be read as a different design proposition, rather than evidence of higher load capacity.

The main models to focus on

Within the broader DTC matrix, this guide focuses on E7, E7 Pro, E7 Plus and E7 Plus Max: four useful reference points for understanding the performance range. E5 remains a lower-priced benchmark. “Featured” describes our editorial focus, not a claim about FlexiSpot’s internal sales targets or spending priorities.

Everyday value
E7 — from $299.99, frame only
A practical starting point for a home office: dual motors, a lower minimum frame height than the Pro, and a basic cable tray. Budget separately for your desktop.
Legroom & cables
E7 Pro — from $399.99, frame only
Its semi-C legs sit farther back, and the extended tray and magnetic cover make cable organization easier. The higher minimum height may be less suitable for a low seated position.
Stability priority
E7 Plus — from $499.99, frame only
A four-leg alternative with favorable stability reviews. Check the frame footprint, monitor-arm clearance and the space available for assembly.
Specialist setup
E7 Plus Max — from $719.99, frame only
Four legs and four motors, with the highest published static-load rating among the four E7 models compared here. Confirm the operating load limit for your equipment before ordering.
Lower-cost option
E5-V3 — $209.99 frame-only configuration observed
A dual-motor option with four memory presets and anti-collision. Its product specification lists a 276 lb static load; other parts of the website show different ratings, so verify the version.

Main-model specification comparison

These are desk-frame prices, not complete-desk prices. On the product pages checked, the configurations below had “Frame Only” or “Desktop Material: No, thanks” selected. Adding a top, changing the finish or choosing accessories can change the total. Prices are a snapshot from October 5, 2026, in USD, before applicable tax.

Static load is not a verified lifting limit. These figures are labeled “Max. Static Load” in the official specifications or E7 family comparison. A static rating alone does not establish how much equipment the desk can safely raise and lower. For E7 Plus, the US product page separately specifies a 440 lb lifting capacity; do not extend that operating limit to another model. Check the manual for the exact configuration, including whether desktop weight counts toward the operating limit.

[1] E5 version note: The E5-V3 specification table lists 276 lb, while the category card lists 287 lb and the description contains 220 lb. We use the version-specific specification here and recommend confirming it with FlexiSpot for a heavy setup. The E5 height figure is reproduced as published; its displayed specification does not clarify tabletop inclusion.

[2] Four-leg models: Heights are the figures on the US E7 family page; confirm tabletop inclusion for the configuration you buy. The US E7 Plus product’s SPECS tab confirms two motors and lists 540 lb static capacity separately from 440 lb lifting capacity (checked October 5, 2026). “Four legs” does not mean “four motors”: the Plus Max explicitly has four motors.

[3] Warranty: The E7 family page advertises 15 years for the frame. The E7 and E7 Plus product warranty tabs list 15 years for the frame, motor, controller and electronics. Desktop coverage is separate, with 2- and 5-year terms shown by material. For E7 Pro and E7 Plus Max, this table reports only the frame coverage confirmed on the family page; confirm each model’s component coverage before purchase. E5’s category card advertises 10 years, without the same component breakdown. Check the current warranty policy and the warranty tab for your specific product.

Featured models: the E7 performance range

The E7 and E7 Pro use two main columns; the Plus models use four legs. Choose the layout around your seated position, floor space and accessories, then compare prices with the same desktop size and material.

Legroom & organization

FlexiSpot E7 Pro

$399.99Frame only · no desktop

The Pro’s strongest practical differences are its semi-C leg layout and upgraded cable management. It adds an extended tray and magnetic cover; the standard E7 already has a basic tray.

  • Dual motors and a manufacturer-rated 440 lb maximum static load.
  • 25–50.6-inch frame adjustment range, excluding the tabletop.
  • Four memory presets, charging port, child lock and anti-collision, according to the product page.
  • FlexiSpot reports 30,000+ lift tests; this is a manufacturer test claim, not a guaranteed service life.
Who it suits: Buyers who need more space under the front of the desk or have several devices and power cables to organize.
Before you buy: The 25-inch minimum frame height is higher than the E7’s. Business Insider’s reviewer also reported assembly difficulties and more noise than some alternatives; check the assembly requirements and noise expectations alongside the extra features.

Four-leg option

FlexiSpot E7 Plus

$499.99Frame only · no desktop

The E7 Plus is worth comparing if movement while typing or using a monitor arm is a concern. Its four-leg structure earned favorable stability assessments from TechRadar and Talk Android. Actual stability also depends on desktop size, assembly, floor surface and equipment placement.

  • Two motors, confirmed in the US product specifications; 540 lb static capacity and a separately stated 440 lb lifting capacity.
  • Published adjustment range of 26–51.6 inches.
  • Four memory presets; the current product description lists Type-C charging for E7 Plus and distinguishes it from E7 Plus Fit.
Who it suits: Buyers who prioritize a four-leg layout and can accommodate its footprint.
Before you buy: The frame is heavy. Talk Android recommends a second person to help flip and position it and describes extra work to mount components to its tested top. That review covers a UK-market configuration; verify US mounting details and accessory clearance.

Four motors

FlexiSpot E7 Plus Max

$719.99Frame only · no desktop

The Plus Max has four legs and one motor per leg. Its 660 lb published static rating is the largest among the four E7 models detailed here. Most ordinary laptop-and-monitor setups should compare the E7 or Pro first; the Max is a specialist choice.

  • Four-motor frame and a published 25.8–51.6-inch height range.
  • Four memory presets, child lock, USB charging and anti-collision advertised on the product page.
  • Fabric-wrapped magnetic cable management.
Who it suits: Shoppers considering a substantial workstation who have checked the operating load, compatible desktop and available floor space.
Before you buy: Confirm the operating load for the chosen desktop and equipment. The four-leg structure, additional motors and larger footprint are most relevant when the workstation actually benefits from them.

Four checks before you choose a desk

1. Measure your seated and standing working heights

Measure where your keyboard needs to sit when your shoulders are relaxed and your forearms are comfortable. Compare that with the finished desktop height, including top thickness and any casters. Your height alone cannot establish the right fit: chair height, body proportions, footwear and keyboard position also matter.

2. Compare complete setups, not frame prices

Choose the same desktop width, depth and material on each model, then compare the final configured totals. Include any monitor arm, cable tray, power strip or delivery charge you actually need. A cheaper bare frame can cost more overall than a suitable bundle.

3. Check space above and below the top

Measure the desk’s floor footprint as well as its surface. Check monitor-arm clamp clearance around crossbeams, the room left for your knees, and whether drawers or cabinets will obstruct the desk at its lowest setting. A four-leg model may fit your equipment differently from a two-column frame.

4. Read the model-specific warranty and return terms

Warranty length can differ between the frame, electronics and desktop. Check that the seller is authorized, keep your proof of purchase, and read the applicable return terms before assembling or drilling into a top. The E7 page advertises free shipping to the contiguous 48 states, with different arrangements for other destinations; confirm your address at checkout.

Frequently asked questions

What does this FlexiSpot DTC product matrix cover?

It maps 19 named desk listings and bundles in the US official-store catalog into four editorial groups: entry and budget, core and everyday use, performance and specialty, and the Fusion design collection. Standalone desktops and accessories are excluded. The map is a dated catalog snapshot, not a count of unique frame platforms or a claim about every regional version.

How should I read the four price groups?

The groups describe displayed listing prices and product positioning. They mix bare-frame offers with other product configurations, so they are not a like-for-like comparison of complete desks. The chart labels the five individually checked frame-only configurations; compare the selected desktop and accessories before ordering.

Why does the article focus on the E7 family?

E7, E7 Pro, E7 Plus and E7 Plus Max provide four clear reference points for the DTC performance range: the core model, the legroom and cable-management upgrade, the four-leg alternative and the four-motor model. They are the featured models in this article; space, storage and design needs may point to another part of the matrix.

Where does the Fusion collection sit in the lineup?

Fusion is the furniture-led branch of the matrix. Retro and Stria emphasize design and hidden storage, Retro L adds a corner format with built-in power, and Nordic advertises modular drawer storage and power access. Its higher listing prices reflect a different product proposition and should not be treated as proof of higher lifting capacity.

Does the $299.99 E7 price include a desktop?

No. On October 5, 2026, the $299.99 E7 configuration checked on the US store had Frame Only selected. Adding a desktop changes the total. Compare identical top sizes and materials before choosing between models.

What is the main difference between E7 and E7 Pro?

The E7 uses a T-shaped frame; the E7 Pro uses semi-C legs and adds an extended cable tray and magnetic cover. Both have cable management. Their published frame heights are 22.8–48.4 inches and 25–50.6 inches respectively, excluding the top. The family page lists maximum static loads of 355 lb and 440 lb.

Does a 660 lb capacity mean the Plus Max can lift 660 lb?

The US family page labels 660 lb as maximum static load. That figure alone does not verify an operating lifting limit. Check the current manual for your exact configuration and whether desktop weight is included in the allowable load.

Does the 15-year warranty cover the whole desk?

Do not assume all components have the same coverage. The E7 product warranty tab lists 15 years for the frame, motor, controller and electronics, while desktop terms vary by material, with 2- and 5-year periods shown. Check the current policy and the specific product warranty tab before buying.

How do I know whether a desk will fit my height?

Measure your comfortable seated and standing keyboard heights, then compare them with the finished desktop range. Add top thickness and caster height when the manufacturer quotes frame-only measurements. Body proportions, chair position and keyboard placement matter as well as your height.

Can I use my own tabletop?

The E7 pages offer frame-only configurations. Before fitting your own top, check the model’s supported width, depth and thickness, mounting instructions and operating load limit. Also check the clearance needed for monitor clamps and other accessories.

How we researched this guide

All 19 names and displayed prices were cross-checked against the fully loaded US standing-desk category on October 5, 2026. The deeper comparison draws on the E7 family page, the E5 and featured E7 product pages, and the media reviews linked below. The price groups and product roles are editorial analysis; they are not presented as FlexiSpot’s internal segmentation or sales data. No hands-on results are claimed for the full matrix.

Product-page specifications take priority over broad marketing copy when a version is identifiable. Where the sources disagree, we explain the difference rather than silently combining the numbers. The detailed specification table focuses on the featured range and the E5 benchmark; other listings are mapped by their published features and positioning. Reviews from another region are used for their authors’ experience, not as a substitute for US specifications.

About the brand: FlexiSpot sells adjustable desks and other home and office furniture. Its About page reports 12 million customers and availability in more than 30 countries and regions. These are brand-reported figures, not independently audited findings by Refer a Deal.
